As a Soest-based company, we are proud of the history of our home town. But this year there is also something special to honour – the town is celebrating its 1,400th anniversary. Also from us: Congratulations to the city of Soest!
Soest was once an important city in the Hanseatic League. Many buildings from this period are still preserved in the historic city centre and the city therefore attracts many visitors.
There was a lot on offer at the anniversary celebrations last weekend, and as a sponsor, we also supported this a little. A square in the old town was transformed into a “beach area” with a music programme, and palm trees grew in Soest for the first time in the town’s history.
